Ganesh
This is newari thangka Ganesh is one of the most popular guardian deities worshipped by Hindus and Buddhists alike. Ganesh is said to be the eliminator of obstacles and is worshipped daily by all . Ganesh ,the elephant headed god of wisdom and success is the defender and remover of obstacles and has to be propitiated first before worshipping any other  gods. Being one of the sons of Shiva he  bestows success in any form of work. His elephant head has only one full tusk and the other was broken during a battle with the demons .He rides on a mouse which is also his vehicle for transportation .  In his right hand he carries a mala or a set of beads in a string of thread and a laddu i.e. sweet ball and in the left hand a parasu i.e. an axe and a radish.

It so happened once that Kumara ( his brother ) challenged Ganesh to circumambulate the world. The winner was to be awarded to be worshipped by the people first. Kumara traveled the world with his vehicle peacock several times and was about to report this to parents  Lord Shiva and Paravati . At that moment Ganesh thinking that he would not be able to circumambulate around the world he just circled around lord shiva and parvati. When asked why he did so he answered very wisely that the world wasn’t as great as his parents and that by circling them he circled the whole universe and much more. This lead to his victory and as a result he his worshipped before any other gods

Amazed by their customer service and collection. Would definitely recommend them to everyone

Really Great Customer Service and very beautiful thangka collection.

This is a magnificent piece of Buddha Shakyamuni thangka. Masterfully executed in rich, vibrant colors with illuminating detail; The silk brocade frame compliments the painting beautifully and forms a focal point in our praying/meditation room I receive the piece earlier than expected in good shape; and prior to purchase, Rajendra was responding quickly and very helpful in providing high resolution picture for my further evaluation. Thank you Rajendra and surely I will be back again.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of the unique thangka I received, as well as the immaculate brocade. Communication with Ritual Thanka has been a pleasure, and shipping was faster than I could have hoped for. Six stars! :)

This is my second purchase - and it will not be my last. Service is fast and efficient. My first thanka came incredibly well packaged.

This original Hand painted Mandala thangka blessed by Shakyamuni Buddha is, indeed, a high quality thangka. I feel blessed to have it in my home.

Thanks to Ritual Thankga for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

I purchased this image based on a single photograph, but was astonished when I unpacked it because it was so much more detailed than the picture showed. This is one of the most exceptional images of Black Mahakala I have seen in person. There are so many little details, such as the tiny colored crystals set in His jewelry and costume. I am completely satisfied and exhilarated with my purchase, and will definitely continue to purchase from this seller.

This devotional statue of Shakyamuni Buddha is exceptional in every detail, and radiates with a spiritual grace and presence that makes it an ideal focal point for meditation practice and devotion. I am more than satisfied with the very high level of customer service I have received with this purchase, which was shipped very quickly and arrived safely. I will continue to purchase from this seller.🙏
