Really Great Customer Service and very beautiful thangka collection.
This is a magnificent piece of Buddha Shakyamuni thangka. Masterfully executed in rich, vibrant colors with illuminating detail; The silk brocade frame compliments the painting beautifully and forms a focal point in our praying/meditation room I receive the piece earlier than expected in good shape; and prior to purchase, Rajendra was responding quickly and very helpful in providing high resolution picture for my further evaluation. Thank you Rajendra and surely I will be back again.

Embracing the Opulence of Deity of Wealth, Jambhala | Seated on His Majestic Throne
In an impressive portrayal of wealth and protection, this realistic thangka of the Deity of Wealth, Jambhala, radiates an aura of prosperity, power, and divine generosity. The use of gold on a deep black canvas creates a striking contrast, making the entire composition glow with an ethereal brilliance. Each jewel and ornament sparkles with a lifelike shine, adding to the thangka’s realism, as if the divine wealth itself radiates from within. A vivid representation of the never-ending cycle of giving and receiving prosperity in both the material and spiritual worlds, Jambhala is brought to life by careful brushwork and shading methods.
The historical relevance of Jambhala in Buddhist tradition stems from his significance as a deity who bestows prosperity and relieves suffering and poverty. He is said to have been personally blessed by Buddha Shakyamuni and given the sacred responsibility of preserving prosperity and ensuring that money is given to those who need it. To reflect his association with both temporal and spiritual wealth, Yellow Jambhala is the most adored of the five forms in which Jambhala is frequently shown. His fierce yet compassionate expression symbolizes his dual role, protecting wealth while ensuring its rightful use.
Jambhala's dignified seated position exudes authority; his left leg assumes the vajra pose, representing unwavering wisdom, while his right foot rests upon a conch shell, signifying the overcoming of greed and financial issues. His intense gaze is framed by the dazzling splendor of his jewel-encrusted crown. In his left hand, a sacred mongoose spits a never-ending stream of jewels that grant wishes, spilling into a golden vase overflowing with material and spiritual wealth. He holds the citron fruit in his right hand, a symbol of abundance and longevity.
The Throne, a two-tiered symbolic masterpiece with elephants representing strength, dragons representing wisdom, and celestial beings like Nagakanya and Kirtimukha protecting the sacred space. The upper tier features a majestic halo with intricate life-like details, enhancing the thangka's overall realism and divine energy. Every ornament, robe, and golden motif radiates an unparalleled realism, making the entire thangka appear alive with divine energy.
At the forefront, rows of glowing butter lamps illuminate the heavens of Jambhala, reinforcing his role as the supreme provider of wealth and wisdom. Besides being a work of art, this masterpiece serves as a spiritual channel, offering safety, knowledge, and abundance to any space for worship or meditation. It stands as a symbol of richness that transcends material wealth to enhance spiritual well-being.
