Really Great Customer Service and very beautiful thangka collection.
This is a magnificent piece of Buddha Shakyamuni thangka. Masterfully executed in rich, vibrant colors with illuminating detail; The silk brocade frame compliments the painting beautifully and forms a focal point in our praying/meditation room I receive the piece earlier than expected in good shape; and prior to purchase, Rajendra was responding quickly and very helpful in providing high resolution picture for my further evaluation. Thank you Rajendra and surely I will be back again.
I was extremely pleased with the quality of the unique thangka I received, as well as the immaculate brocade. Communication with Ritual Thanka has been a pleasure, and shipping was faster than I could have hoped for. Six stars! :)

Buddha Mandala Thangka | Buddhist Art for Meditation & Spiritual Growth
A revered representation of Buddhist cosmology, the Buddha Mandala Thangka is elaborately crafted to symbolize the Buddha's enlightened world and his celestial companions. Shakyamuni Buddha, who exudes wisdom and purity, is seated in the middle of the mandala. Surrounding him is an intricate palace structure, symbolizing the divine sanctuary where deities reside. The four magnificent gates reflect the cardinal directions, welcoming practitioners to enter the sacred place and begin their path to enlightenment. The artwork is delicately hand-painted in acrylic colors and decorated with 24K gold accents. These brilliant touches heighten the mystical energy that emerges from the mandala.
A wide variety of protector figures, bodhisattvas, and deities that are essential to Buddhist practice may be found in the Thangka's outer parts. Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig), a multi-armed deity, is shown at the top with attendant bodhisattvas, signifying compassion and heavenly direction. The furious protector deities that preserve the sacred teachings and fend off negativity are located beneath the mandala. The mandala's divine quality is further supported by the intricate representations of flames, swirling clouds, and celestial beings. This Thangka guides practitioners toward inner peace, wisdom, and freedom from suffering. It can also be used as a meditation aid and a sacred path of enlightenment.
