Description

Dzambala Statue, Tibetan Buddhist Wealth Deity, Traditional Gold Statue

About Our Statue :

We have traditionally crafted the fascinating wrathful statue of Dzambhala in an oxidized copper body and gold platings with acrylic paint. We designed a god with a wrathful look in this statue.

Zambala or Dzambala:

Zambala, also known as Kuber is the god of wealth. Zambala or Kubera is also believed to be an emanation of Avalokitesvara or Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Zambala is the fortune of wealth and prosperity. It is believed that if anyone keeps the painting or statue of Zambala in their home they will be blessed with wealth and prosperity.

It is believed Zambala practice can remove poverty in all six realms and increase the merits, wisdom, compassion, lifeline, and wealth.

Zambala sits on a lotus, holding a mongoose named Nehulay, which spews forth precious jewels and ornaments. He is said to be able to grant wishes and help increase financial abundance.

We have had this statue in our collection for over 25 years now. This statue was stored away for several years. We just very recently decided to showcase our vintage statue collection on platforms such as Etsy. We were thrilled to discover the quality and depth of these beautiful sculptures when we opened the boxes and decided to showcase them online for everyone. In early 2000 we changed our company name from J.B.Art Center to Ritual Thanka and focused primarily on collecting and selling thangka paintings. Due to Covid 19, we have had to change our business strategy and focus more on online platforms. We hope the aesthetics of these vintage statues brings a deep sense of happiness to your hearts.

I visited the premises in Boudha in person. Its not just next to the stupa like many shops but a little way away and easy to find with Googlemaps - just ask locals when you get there as they didn't have an obvious sign, at least when I visited. They have modern studios, workshops and a salesroom all in the same buildng. Bipin was very helpful and I examined several bhavacakra thankas before settling for a beautifully detailed one. The brocade was added in a day or two and the final thanka was delivered to my hotel very carefully and robustly packaged. I was very happy with the thankas I bought and very happy with the service, Definitely recommended!

super sweet thanka for a child

An absolutely phenomenal thangka: among the highest quality thangkas I've been blessed to acquire. The quality of the painting is truly stunning, and the brocade is also of the highest order. A joy to receive! The seller is also very kind, attentive, and helpful. All around a pleasure to support this shop, and I look forward to purchasing from them again in the future!
