Description

Human Skeleton Thangka:

A Human Skeleton Thangka is a striking representation within Tibetan Buddhist art, featuring a skeletal figure adorned with intricate symbols and surrounded by rich iconography. Symbolizing the impermanence of life and the inevitability of death, the skeleton serves as a powerful contemplative tool, urging practitioners to reflect on the transient nature of existence. Through its detailed imagery, the Thangka conveys profound Buddhist teachings on suffering, karma, and the pursuit of liberation. Viewers are invited to meditate on the skeleton's form and surrounding symbolism, contemplating the deeper truths of existence and the transformative potential of spiritual practice. Ultimately, the Human Skeleton Thangka serves as a poignant reminder of the impermanence of the physical body and the eternal quest for enlightenment within the Buddhist tradition.

I visited the premises in Boudha in person. Its not just next to the stupa like many shops but a little way away and easy to find with Googlemaps - just ask locals when you get there as they didn't have an obvious sign, at least when I visited. They have modern studios, workshops and a salesroom all in the same buildng. Bipin was very helpful and I examined several bhavacakra thankas before settling for a beautifully detailed one. The brocade was added in a day or two and the final thanka was delivered to my hotel very carefully and robustly packaged. I was very happy with the thankas I bought and very happy with the service, Definitely recommended!

Beautiful Thangka paintings- exactly as in the photos, top fast delivery! Excellent communication! Will definitely buy again from this seller!

I have been blessed to procure most of my Thangkas in Asia so it is an amazing experience to be able to shop online and trust the quality. The owner of the shop is unbelievably helpful and very responsive to any questions. The Thangka arrived in the time promised and very well protected in the packaging. I am very excited to be gently allowing it to unfurl and find a new home on my wall to bless all that pass before it. Om
