I visited the premises in Boudha in person. Its not just next to the stupa like many shops but a little way away and easy to find with Googlemaps - just ask locals when you get there as they didn't have an obvious sign, at least when I visited. They have modern studios, workshops and a salesroom all in the same buildng. Bipin was very helpful and I examined several bhavacakra thankas before settling for a beautifully detailed one. The brocade was added in a day or two and the final thanka was delivered to my hotel very carefully and robustly packaged. I was very happy with the thankas I bought and very happy with the service, Definitely recommended!

1000 Armed Lokeshvara:
Avalokiteshvara, sometimes referred to as Chenrezig or the Thousand Armed Lokeshvara, is a bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism. One of the most respected gods in Tibetan Buddhism, he is thought to represent the compassion of all Buddhas. The deity is represented as having a thousand arms, each of which is holding a sign, such as a sword, a crystal rosary, or a lotus flower.
The 1000 Armed Lokeshvara is frequently depicted in thangka paintings in a tranquil meditation stance, accompanied by numerous other deities and Buddhist symbols. His profusion of limbs stands for his capacity to assist innumerable creatures at once. Rich hues and elaborate elements, such as gold leaf work, are frequently present in the artwork, adding to its grandeur.
