Really Great Customer Service and very beautiful thangka collection.
This is a magnificent piece of Buddha Shakyamuni thangka. Masterfully executed in rich, vibrant colors with illuminating detail; The silk brocade frame compliments the painting beautifully and forms a focal point in our praying/meditation room I receive the piece earlier than expected in good shape; and prior to purchase, Rajendra was responding quickly and very helpful in providing high resolution picture for my further evaluation. Thank you Rajendra and surely I will be back again.
I was extremely pleased with the quality of the unique thangka I received, as well as the immaculate brocade. Communication with Ritual Thanka has been a pleasure, and shipping was faster than I could have hoped for. Six stars! :)

Traditional Vajrayogini Thangka:
Traditional Vajrayogini Thangka is a highly symbolic representation of Vajrayogini, the supreme goddess of wisdom, compassion, and enlightened transformation in Tibetan Buddhism. Often depicted in a dynamic dancing posture (known as the dakini pose), it symbolizes the union of bliss and emptiness, representing the path to enlightenment through the highest yoga tantra practices. Vajrayogini's radiant red skin symbolizes her power to transform desire into a path of liberation. She is usually naked except for a garland of severed heads and bone ornaments, representing her fearless nature and transcendence over worldly attachments. In her right hand, she holds a flaying knife (kartika), symbolizing the severance of the ego, while in her left hand, she holds a skull cup (kapala) filled with blood, symbolizing the subjugation of negative energies and the essence of wisdom. Above her head, a khatvanga staff rests on her shoulder, representing her spiritual consort and the inseparable union of wisdom and method.
Vajrayogini Thangka is meticulously hand-painted by skilled artisans, capturing intricate details such as her intense gaze, flowing hair, and symbolic attributes. It is believed to help practitioners achieve higher spiritual realizations and attainments, serving as an exquisite representation of the divine feminine in Buddhism and a profound reminder of the transformative power of wisdom and compassion.
