Description

Wheel of Life | Journey Through Samsara:

The "Wheel of Life," or Bhavachakra, is a Buddhist Thangka that illustrates the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. It represents the three poisons—ignorance, attachment, and aversion—that drive the cycle of suffering and rebirth. Six realms of existence surround the wheel, each with different states of suffering and happiness based on karma. The outer rim shows the Twelve Links of Dependent Origination, explaining how ignorance leads to rebirth and suffering. Yama, the Lord of Death, holds the wheel, symbolizing the inevitability of death and the transient nature of life. Above the wheel, the Buddha points to the moon, symbolizing liberation and enlightenment. The Thangka serves as both a teaching tool and a meditation aid. In "The Wheel of Life: Journey Through Samsara," Thangka illustrates the cycle of existence and highlights the path to breaking free through enlightenment.

Our Wheel of Life Thangka is a beautiful, intricate artwork that reminds us of the journey through Samsara and the path to enlightenment. It is perfect for home or office, bringing spiritual elegance and timeless wisdom to your environment. This captivating depiction of the Buddhist cycle of existence transforms your surroundings and inspires reflection.

Amazed by their customer service and collection. Would definitely recommend them to everyone

Really Great Customer Service and very beautiful thangka collection.

This is a magnificent piece of Buddha Shakyamuni thangka. Masterfully executed in rich, vibrant colors with illuminating detail; The silk brocade frame compliments the painting beautifully and forms a focal point in our praying/meditation room I receive the piece earlier than expected in good shape; and prior to purchase, Rajendra was responding quickly and very helpful in providing high resolution picture for my further evaluation. Thank you Rajendra and surely I will be back again.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of the unique thangka I received, as well as the immaculate brocade. Communication with Ritual Thanka has been a pleasure, and shipping was faster than I could have hoped for. Six stars! :)

This is my second purchase - and it will not be my last. Service is fast and efficient. My first thanka came incredibly well packaged.

It was kismet to find this exquisite White Tara, a gift for my good friend on her 30th birthday, on Ritual Thanka's Etsy. They have so many practice-quality paintings created by true craftsmen, and the purchasing process is easy. When I called Ritual's contact number to ask a question, their sales manager answered and took action to help even though it wasn't his normal job. (Thanks, Rajendra!) They also sent me a brief personal video showing the packed thangka ready for shipping, and got it out the door quickly -- in the face of the covid pandemic, no less. You can feel safe supporting Nepalese artists by purchasing from Ritual Thanka.

I was prepared for a beautiful devotional work of art to accompany my meditations and spiritual practice, but even the pictures provided on Etsy could not prepare me for the inconceivable skill and radiance of this incredible Thanka. My purchase arrived timely and very well protected, and was prepared with sumptuous brocade as requested and paid for. The quality here is so exceptional, so profoundly beautiful; I have seen Thankas in museum collections not as fine as this one I purchased. The line work, coloration, and attention to details is unsurpassed. I cannot say enough to commend the artist of this sacred masterpiece. This is my third purchase from this seller, and I will keep purchasing from them and supporting this glorious work for Dharma!❤🙏🔥

I am thrilled with my Mahakala thanka, which is even more beautiful than the pictures posted on Etsy. The shipping was fast, and my purchase arrived safe and sound rolled up in a very thick protective cardboard tube. The brocade framing is stunning, and the detail on the painting sublime. This is a quality devotional image for meditation and will be cherished. I'm so happy with my purchase and will definitely be ordering again from this seller🙏

Thangka looks so beautiful!! Fits perfectly with a brocade! I am so happy and satisfied! Very fast shipping and excellent communication! Seller is kind and helpful! Again want to thank you for all! Definitely will be back to this shop!

This Green Tara Thangka with traditional Tibetan brocade is simply stunning! I'm so grateful. Thank you.
