This is a magnificent piece of Buddha Shakyamuni thangka. Masterfully executed in rich, vibrant colors with illuminating detail; The silk brocade frame compliments the painting beautifully and forms a focal point in our praying/meditation room

Vintage rare collectible thangka Painting of Arya Avalokiteshvara mounted on brocade
This painting of Arya Lokeshvara was collected in late 1980's .
The beautiful colors and workmanship have aged well and seem rich and soothing with the passing time.
It's a very good size for any wall as it measures - 42" x 32" inches with brocade and the inside canvas measures 32" x 22 " inches.
We have had this Thangka in our collection for over 30 years now. This thangka was stored away for several years. We just very recently decided to showcase our vintage thangka collection on platforms such as Etsy. We were thrilled to discover the quality and depth of these beautiful thangkas when we unveiled them and decided to showcase them online for everyone. In early 2000 we changed our company name from J.B.Art Center to Ritual Thanka and focused primarily on collecting and selling thangka paintings.
