I purchased this image based on a single photograph, but was astonished when I unpacked it because it was so much more detailed than the picture showed. This is one of the most exceptional images of Black Mahakala I have seen in person. There are so many little details, such as the tiny colored crystals set in His jewelry and costume. I am completely satisfied and exhilarated with my purchase, and will definitely continue to purchase from this seller.

Vintage rare collectible thangka Painting of Arya Avalokiteshvara mounted on brocade
This painting of Arya Lokeshvara was collected in late 1980's .
The beautiful colors and workmanship have aged well and seem rich and soothing with the passing time.
It's a very good size for any wall as it measures - 42" x 32" inches with brocade and the inside canvas measures 32" x 22 " inches.
We have had this Thangka in our collection for over 30 years now. This thangka was stored away for several years. We just very recently decided to showcase our vintage thangka collection on platforms such as Etsy. We were thrilled to discover the quality and depth of these beautiful thangkas when we unveiled them and decided to showcase them online for everyone.
