In the Thangka Yamantaka is depicted in a yab-yum union with his consort, representing the union of wisdom and compassion in the context of Yamantaka's wrathful form. This union symbolizes the transformation of destructive forces into sources of wisdom and compassion on the path to enlightenment. In this form, Yamantaka and his consort are depicted with multiple heads and arms, adorned with wrathful attributes, signifying their power to overcome obstacles and ignorance.
